I'm sure that this is still a work in progress, but the scope of the questions currently asked via the application is too narrow. For the sake of brevity I will merely list additional issues prime for inclusion, rather than arguing the case:
under Civil Liberties:
The Patriot Act
The Military Commissions Act
Net Neutrality
under Economy
Relative Budget Allocations (i.e. defense spending v. education spending v. science/arts spending; likely constituting multiple questions)
under Electoral Reform
Election Day Holiday
Popular Vote v. Electoral College
Funding Allocations/Allowances & Campaign Windows
under Education
Intelligent Design and Biblical Studies in School Curricula
Vouchers/School Choice
Approaches to Improving Results (e.g. standardized tests v. malleable curricula)
etc.
etc.
Though many may not be aware of or realize that they care about some of the above issues, much of the value in an application such as this is its ability to inform.

Yes, Like a Candidate is very much still a work in progress and we completely agree that this type of application is most useful if it can inform.
To that end, we're considering several options. Bolstering the survey with more issues, such as you suggest, is one. We're also considering allowing users to control the issues that are included.
